I created this painting as a means to reflect from heartbreak. After a trip to the beach to process my emotions, I returned and this is what flowed out of me.The cool blue tones against the stark white canvas exhibit a sense of serenity and acceptance while subtle hints of purple suggest devotion and peace.
I mixed water with acrylic paint and acrylic ink and used Floetrol to thin the mixture. It took approximately 3 days to complete the design.
